Consider this statement in a Description of Bias Detector:
"Our philosophy differs from conventional definitions of biases in that we measure “constructiveness,” that is, the ability to achieve complementarity, as opposed to “impartiality,” which can always be associated with either indifference or hypocrisy. Dialectical bias is directly related to what we consider right and wrong, constructive and destructive, while other biases are usually related to what is considered subjective and objective, partiality and impartiality. Who would argue that it is better to be “biased toward the constructive good” than “unbiased toward the destructive bad”?
What definitions of "bias" are themselves biased? Which biases should we identify first?
